Modification and Enforcement

Post Divorce Modification

If you have experienced a significant change in life or employment, which requires updating a child support, child custody, alimony or child visitation plan, we can help you file a post divorce modification petition. A post modification divorce petition explains the substantial change in your life and allows the court to review the request for modification.

A substantial change can be anything that alters your ability to fulfill your obligations under the current agreement. An example is losing your job, which would affect your ability to pay child support. Another example would be moving, which would affect your ability to visit your child.

Enforcement

If the other parent refuses to follow a court order in some way, we can help you take action to make sure the parent complies with the plan.
