Trusts

A trust holds title to property for the benefit of a person, or an entity. The person appointed to control the trust and managing its assets is called the trustee. The trustee does not use the trust property or assets for his own profit, but rather the trustee uses the proceeds from the trust for the beneficiaries of the trust. Beneficiaries are those who are intended to benefit from the trust and they have the right to have the trustee do what is in their best interest.

When a person has a will, it goes through probate, but when you create a trust, it does not go through probate.
